These Terms & Services govern access to fargoprintcompany.com and the commercial printing, copying, finishing, and fulfillment work offered by Fargo Print Company to customers in the United States. By requesting a quote, sending artwork, approving a proof, or using this website, you agree to this document. If you do not agree, do not submit files or place a production request.
Last updated: August 24, 2026. Fargo Print Company may revise these terms as paper markets, shipping rules, or production methods change. The date at the top of this page is the version that applies to new work. Jobs already on press follow the terms in effect when the proof was approved unless both parties agree in writing to a change.
Fargo Print Company is a print and finishing studio serving businesses, agencies, nonprofits, campuses, and independent creators across the United States. We produce, among other items, business cards, letterhead, envelopes, flyers, brochures, booklets, catalogs, posters, banners, rigid displays, stickers, labels, postcards, packaging, apparel decoration, and related bindery. We also provide prepress review, color consultation, paper selection, coating, cutting, folding, stitching, scoring, and kit packing.
This website is a static brochure and request portal. Forms on the site perform client-side validation only. Submitting a form does not, by itself, create a binding production contract, reserve press time, or guarantee a ship date. A representative follows up to confirm specifications, pricing, and schedule.
We do not publish a telephone number or street address on this website. Correspondence for new work should use hello@fargoprintcompany.com or the contact form. Job-specific artwork may be requested through the channel a representative assigns after your inquiry.
Prices shown on the Plans & Pricing page, service highlights, and promotional graphics (including example figures such as $8.99 flyer starting points or $25.00 stationery kits) are illustrations. They are not a standing offer for every quantity, stock, coating, or turnaround. Commercial print pricing depends on sheet size, ink coverage, sides, paper mill, coating, bindery, waste allowance, and freight.
A written estimate is valid for the period stated on the estimate, typically fourteen (14) calendar days, unless paper or freight markets move in a way that makes the quote commercially unreasonable. If a mill changes a stock or a carton price after you approve a job but before we purchase materials, we will notify you and pause production until you accept the revised figure or substitute a comparable sheet.
Rush work, weekend press time, special-order papers, metallic inks, white ink, foil, emboss, die-cutting, and variable-data imaging are extra unless the estimate lists them as included. Quantity breaks assume the full count ships together. Split shipments, multiple drop dates, or kitting by size or SKU may change the price.
You are responsible for supplying files that can be printed. Preferred delivery is a press-ready PDF/X with fonts outlined or embedded, images at appropriate resolution for viewing distance, and at least 0.125 inch bleed on trimmed pieces unless a representative specifies otherwise. Native Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop files are accepted when packaged with links and fonts.
RGB photography, low-resolution web graphics, and files without bleed are common causes of delay. Prepress will flag issues we can see. We do not guarantee that we will catch every design error, including misspellings, incorrect phone numbers in your artwork, low-contrast type, or images that look acceptable on a backlit screen and weak on uncoated stock.
Color on coated paper is not identical to color on uncoated paper, newsprint, fabric, or vinyl. We print to agreed targets using industry practice, not to an uncalibrated office monitor. If your brand requires a specific pantone or drawdown, say so before plates or digital queues are released. Special-match inks and drawdowns may add time and cost.
By sending artwork you represent that you own or have licensed the text, photography, illustration, trademarks, and fonts. You will defend Fargo Print Company against claims that the printed piece infringes a third party's rights. We may refuse jobs that appear unlawful, defamatory, or that we reasonably believe we are not authorized to reproduce.
Soft proofs (PDF or on-screen) show layout, spelling, and relative color. They are not a contract for exact press density. Hard proofs, press proofs, and paper dummies more closely represent the finished piece and may be recommended for photography-heavy work, tight brand colors, or first-time stocks.
When you approve a proof, you approve trim, folds, pagination, copy, and the production method described on the ticket. Changes after approval can require new plates, new digital setups, or scrapped sheets. Those costs belong to the customer unless the error is ours.
If you waive a proof to save time, you accept the risk of undetected file problems. We still run standard preflight, but waived-proof jobs are not eligible for reprint solely because the customer later dislikes type size, crop, or color that was present in the supplied file.
Paper is a natural and manufactured product. Shade, formation, caliper, and coating can vary by mill run. We match stock descriptions in good faith. An exact mill lot match on reprints is not always available. We will disclose known substitutions.
Offset and digital processes have industry-acceptable variation in density, trapping, and registration. Slight movement of hairline rules, small type, or tight reverses can occur. Coatings (aqueous, UV, varnish) change both appearance and scuff resistance. Uncoated sheets show more dot gain. These are characteristics of print, not defects, unless they fall outside the standard we stated on the estimate.
Apparel decoration involves fabric dye lots, shrinkage, and ink hand-feel that differ from paper. Garment color on a website photo may not match the blank you receive. We will share brand and color codes when they are part of the order.
Large-format graphics viewed at a distance are produced at resolutions appropriate to that distance. Standing three inches from a banner is not the viewing condition the file was built for.
Commercial print customarily allows a small overrun or underrun because makeready consumes sheets. Unless an estimate promises an exact count, a variation of up to ten percent (10%) may be billed or credited at the unit price. If you must have an exact quantity for a numbered event or a sealed kit, say so in writing so we can plan waste and price accordingly.
Production calendars start when files are approved, materials are in house, and any prepaid portion required by the estimate has been arranged. They do not start on the day a form is filled out on this website. Transit time is not press time. Carrier delays, weather, mill backorders, equipment failure, and labor interruptions can affect delivery.
We are not liable for incidental or consequential damages caused by late arrival of printed matter, including missed trade shows, lost advertising value, or reprint of a third-party campaign, except to the extent a separate written service-level agreement says otherwise. Our ordinary remedy for a production miss that is our fault is to accelerate the job, reprint, or credit in a commercially reasonable way.
Fulfillment across the United States may use common carriers. Title and risk of loss transfer according to the shipping terms on the estimate, typically when the carton is tendered to the carrier unless we have agreed to a different arrangement. Inspect cartons on arrival and report transit damage promptly with photos.
Inspect work on receipt. Claims for shortage, obvious defect, or damage should be raised within ten (10) business days of delivery. Hidden bindery issues should be raised within a reasonable time after discovery, not after an entire campaign has been distributed.
If we agree a defect is ours, our obligation is to reprint the defective portion or credit its value, at our option. We do not automatically reprint an entire campaign because a small carton was scuffed. Keep defective samples. Do not distribute work you intend to claim against.
To the fullest extent permitted by United States law, Fargo Print Company's total liability for a job is limited to the amount paid for that job. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data in customer-supplied files, or reputational harm. Some states do not allow certain limitations; in those states our liability is limited to the maximum permitted.
Payment terms appear on the estimate or invoice. New accounts may be asked to prepay or to pay a deposit before paper is ordered. Late amounts may accrue a commercially reasonable finance charge. You are responsible for applicable sales tax based on ship-to location and product type unless a valid exemption is on file.
We may pause reprints or new work if an account is past due. Custom printed matter is generally not returnable because it has no value to another customer.
The Fargo Print Company name, folded-sheet mark, layout, photographs, and copy on this website are protected. You may not scrape, clone, or republish the site as a competing print template. You may share links to public pages.
Do not misuse forms, attempt to disrupt the site, or submit unlawful content. This is a static site with client-side checks; do not assume a submission was received until a representative confirms it.
Personal information is described in the Privacy Policy. Newsletter and contact forms on this static website validate in the browser and display a confirmation message. They do not by themselves store data on a server. If we later operate a mailing list, you may leave it through the Unsubscribe Email page and the practices in the Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state whose law a court of competent jurisdiction determines applies to the particular dispute, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would send the case elsewhere. Customers who are businesses agree that print industry custom (including GAA and related trade practices where applicable) may be used to interpret manufacturing questions.
Questions about these Terms & Services may be sent to hello@fargoprintcompany.com. Describe the job name, estimate number if you have one, and the section you want clarified. A representative will respond. Nothing in a marketing page overrides a signed estimate.
Thank you for trusting Fargo Print Company with paper, ink, and the first impression your brand makes in the physical world.
