This Privacy Policy explains how Fargo Print Company thinks about information when you visit fargoprintcompany.com, request a print quote, send artwork, join or leave an email list, or otherwise interact with our United States commercial printing studio. We wrote it in plain language because print customers deserve the same clarity we expect in a job ticket.
Last updated: August 24, 2026. This static website currently uses client-side form validation only. Forms do not post to a server from these pages. When a valid form is submitted, the browser shows the message: “One of our representative will contact you.” That message is a user-interface confirmation, not proof that a database stored your details. If we later connect forms to email or a list tool, this policy will be updated to name those processors.
This policy covers visitors to our public website, people who fill out contact, subscribe, unsubscribe, or newsletter fields, and customers who later send files or specifications for printing, copying, finishing, or fulfillment. It is written for individuals and organizations in the United States. If you are a vendor, mill, or carrier working with us, a separate agreement may apply to operational data.
We do not publish a phone number or physical address on this website. Privacy questions may be sent to hello@fargoprintcompany.com.
Contact and quote forms may ask for your name, email address, the type of printing you want (for example business cards, flyers, posters, stickers, apparel, or offset catalogs), and a free-text description of quantities, paper, coating, destinations, and dates. Subscribe forms may ask for name, email, a confirmation email, and a content interest. Unsubscribe forms may ask for email, confirmation email, and a reason for leaving the list.
If you become a production customer, we may later receive additional information needed to print: company name, billing details, shipping destinations inside the United States, artwork files, fonts, brand color targets, pantone notes, garment sizes, and kit packing lists. Artwork often contains personal data if your design includes employee names, donor lists, or variable-data mail files. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to send us those lists.
We do not ask children to use this site to order commercial print. The site is intended for business and adult personal projects.
Like most websites, our host or browser may log technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, and pages viewed. This static project does not embed a third-party analytics dashboard in the page templates. If hosting logs exist, they are used to keep the site available and to diagnose errors, not to build advertising profiles.
Social icons link to third-party networks (for example Twitter/X, Pinterest, Facebook, and YouTube). Those networks have their own policies. Clicking a social icon leaves our site.
We load fonts from Google Fonts and icons from a public CDN. Those providers may receive your IP address as part of delivering the files. You can learn more from those providers’ privacy statements.
We use information to respond to print inquiries, prepare estimates, review files, produce and ship work, improve paper and service recommendations, send studio notes if you ask to subscribe, and honor unsubscribe requests. We may use job history to match reprints so a spring flyer can follow last winter’s brand red.
We do not sell personal information as that term is commonly understood in United States consumer privacy statutes. We do not rent our customer list to unrelated advertisers. We may mention a printed campaign in our portfolio only with permission or when the work is already public.
Client-side validation exists to reduce incomplete requests (invalid emails, blank names, short messages). Validation happens in your browser. It is not a background processing system and it does not create an account.
If you join the Fargo Print Company list, we intend to send paper launches, coating notes, production calendars, and studio stories related to commercial printing. Frequency should stay modest. You can unsubscribe using the Unsubscribe Email page linked in the footer of every page.
Until a live mailing platform is connected, subscribe and unsubscribe forms only validate locally and display the same representative-contact confirmation used on other forms. Treat that as a demonstration of the intended courtesy flow. When a live list exists, unsubscribe will be processed without requiring you to log into an account, and we will stop promotional mail to that address within a reasonable period required by applicable United States email rules.
Transactional messages about an active print job (proofs, ship notices, invoices) are not the same as marketing mail. We may still email you about a job you asked us to produce even if you leave the newsletter.
Print files are the heart of our craft and also a privacy obligation. Mail files, member directories, and personalized stationery can contain names, addresses, and other identifiers. We use them to image the pieces you ordered and to quality-check the run. We do not use a customer’s variable-data file to market our own services to those individuals.
Retain copies of files you send us. We may archive RIPs, proofs, and tickets for reprint matching. Retention length depends on storage practice and the nature of the job. If you need a file destroyed after a campaign, say so in writing and we will discuss what plates, disks, and backups can reasonably be purged.
Prepress staff, press operators, and fulfillment partners may see job content as needed to manufacture and pack it. Bindery and shipping partners receive only what is required to finish and deliver the work.
We may share information with paper merchants, freight carriers, payment processors, cloud storage, email delivery tools, and specialty finishers (foil, die-cut, mailing houses) when they need it to perform a task for your job. They are not permitted to use your campaign files to build their own marketing lists.
We may disclose information if required by United States law, a valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Fargo Print Company, our customers, or the public. We may share information in connection with a business transfer, such as a merger of the studio, subject to continued protection consistent with this policy.
These static pages do not set a first-party advertising cookie. Your browser may store ordinary session data. If we later add a cookie banner or analytics, we will describe categories (strictly necessary, analytics, marketing) and update this section.
No website is perfectly secure. We use reputable hosting and HTTPS when the domain is served over TLS. You should still avoid putting payment card numbers, government identifiers, or large unencrypted mail files into a public contact form. A representative will provide a safer channel for sensitive lists when a job requires them.
Because forms on this version of the site do not submit to a backend, do not assume we received a message until a person replies. If you do not hear back, write to hello@fargoprintcompany.com.
Inquiry notes are kept long enough to answer you and, if you become a customer, to support reprints and accounting. Marketing list records are kept until you unsubscribe or the list is retired. Production archives (proofs, tickets, color notes) may be kept for years because brands often reprint. You may ask us what we hold that relates to you.
You may request access to or correction of personal information we hold, subject to verifying your identity and to exceptions in the law (for example, we cannot un-print a catalog already mailed). Residents of states with consumer privacy statutes (including, where applicable, California and other comprehensive state laws) may have rights to know, delete, correct, or opt out of certain sharing. We do not sell personal information. To exercise a right, email hello@fargoprintcompany.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line and enough detail for us to locate your records (name, email used on jobs, and approximate dates).
We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights. Authorized agents may submit requests where the law allows, with proof of authorization.
Our studio and typical production are focused on the United States. If you visit the site from another country, your information may be processed in the United States, whose laws may differ from those in your home country. Do not send us files you are not allowed to export.
This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children for commercial print accounts. School or youth-organization print jobs should be requested by an adult representative of that organization.
Links to paper mills, design tools, or social networks are provided for convenience. Their privacy practices are their own. Sample kits, if you request them, require a shipping destination that you will provide through a representative; we do not list a public street address on this site, and we will not publish yours.
When we add a backend, a live newsletter platform, or new production partners that change how data flows, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be announced by a notice on the homepage or by email if we have a working address for you.
Privacy questions, access requests, and concerns about a print file should be sent to hello@fargoprintcompany.com. Include your name, the email you used, and a description of the issue. A representative will respond. For legal process, do not rely on a website form; use the email channel and clearly mark the subject.
Fargo Print Company exists to put ink on paper with care. We will treat the names, files, and lists you trust us with as part of that craft.
